In October of 2009, Beamon and Kurt embarked on a musical journey that would not only invigorate Central Florida's sluggish music scene, but redefine it. What transpired was the inception of August Moon.

In early January 2010, after several castings to find the right fit, Scott was added as the lead guitarist of August Moon, an amazing guitarist who recently relocated to Orlando from Pennsylvania. With his Les Paul in tow, he generated the sound that defined exactly what August Moon sought after.

Shortly after the addition of Scott, Tony was added to the line up as August Moon's Bass player. Tony's deep grooves and consistency, was the perfect fit and was added without any hesitation. Not wanting to stop there, the four members of August Moon decided to fill out the team by adding another lead guitarist; one who would not only compliment the already amazing musicianship of August Moon, but elevate August Moon beyond the boundaries of what defines music today.

Enter Jesse a guitarist who takes every sound that comes from his guitars, and twists and shapes it into something that has never been heard before.

With little time to waste, August Moon began work on building the right set list to make its name in Central Florida’s music scene. With the amount of talent and professionalism that comprises August Moon; this band is destined to keep the crowd rocking and geared throughout their entire performance.
