Now, as that wreckage is fusing together and smoldering in the mid days sun,
Metallicas airplane comes crashing down right into the smoking pile of musical genius.
What becomes of this wreck?
Minds Bigger arose from those ashes with a feeling of unity and togetherness, all represented by the fast but smooth flowing verses, catchy hook-laden choruses, groovy melodic bridges and in your face guitar solos. Minds Bigger is alive. Minds Bigger is a highly energetic junk rock band from Orlando, Fl, whose musical creativity stems from all styles of music and influence. They are declaring their genre as “junk rock” which is a fun and interesting blend of jam band and punk rock. The band consists of five (5) members, Edwin Barbosa and Hogan Birney on guitar, Joe Bench on bass, Lee Rosario on drums and Adam Creveling on vocals.
The broad sound that they achieve is due to the fact that the band does all of their writing together, to truly represent all of the members ideas. Their style and sound is best described as energetic, fun, upbeat and creative. In October 2008, Minds Bigger released their first EP “Hear all about it” to the public. The music as well as all of the artwork on the album was a self produced effort on behalf of the band members. Minds Bigger plans on releasing a full length CD in the near future.
Given the EP release and the clever artwork that is a part of it you might be lead to believe that this is all that they have put out however, their real impact is on the big stage. Minds Bigger has a live show that rivals any regional or national touring act bar none. Between a high energy set list, sound effects and comedy skits, they are truly a new and creative approach to music and show business that will surely have the audience leaving their show pumped, excited and wondering what is next and where they can get it.
